No one knows the best places to travel in Western Australia better than the people who call Australia’s largest state home. That’s why we asked Aussie Rules star Nat Fyfe, breakout Olympian Peter Bol, and Fremantle Superhost Wendy Robertson to show us the places, people, and hidden gems that make WA so special. Through their experiences, we take you inside WA to highlight the discoveries made possible by Hosts.
Meet our WA Travel Insiders
Margaret River and Busselton
After a couple of tough seasons on the road for extended periods of time, Nat is enjoying some well-earned rest in one of his favourite places on earth around Margaret River and Busselton. A mecca for great surf and wine, the area’s proximity to Perth means it’s a popular spot not just for locals, but visitors from all over.
Broome
When your career takes you all over the world, travel becomes second nature, and Broome is one of Peter’s favourite places when back in Australia. As a distance runner, you need space to move, and star attraction in Broome, Cable Beach, has it in spades, with 22km of sparkling sand and sea to wind up on.
Fremantle
A sculptor, art-lover and Airbnb Superhost - Wendy Robertson is well-versed in all that the City of Fremantle has to offer to travellers in search of culture. Close to Perth and home to a variety of great galleries, beaches, restaurants, rivers, markets, and music venues, Fremantle has something for everyone.
